(Farmington, Mo.) The Farmington Knights baseball team announced via Twitter on Monday that they will be hosting their Senior Night on Tuesday, July 7th when they take on the St. Paul Giants.

Farmington assistant coach Josh Hoehn says the team is excited to face some new competition.

The Knights baseball team had 11 seniors on the team this spring, one of the largest classes in the area.

Hoehn says they hope to have a “normal” Senior Night to celebrate these players’ accomplishments.

Like many other teams in the area, Farmington baseball has scheduled games this summer to give their team a chance at some closure for a season lost.

However, Hoehn says that does not mean they won’t be doing everything they can to try to win whenever they take the field.

The Farmington baseball Senior Night will be on July 7th at Wilson Rozier Park in Farmington with first pitch scheduled for 6 o’clock.

We will have coverage of the game beginning at 5:45 on AM 800 KREI.
