Farmington Baseball to Play 19th Game in 3 Weeks at Potosi
(POTOSI) The Farmington Knights baseball team has been busy lately, as they’ve played 18 games over the last three weeks. Tuesday evening, they’ll face the 4-4 Potosi Trojans, who have a young roster and significantly less game experience. Potosi’s last game was on the road at Ellington last week, where it took eight innings to land at an 8-to-nothing Trojan victory. Trojans manager Joe Portell drilled his team on the details over the last few days, but says game reps have been valuable too.

Farmington is coached by Logan Winder. They enter this afternoon’s matchup at 11-7 after an 8-1 start. Knights manager Logan Winder says the busy schedule might be a factor in the slump.

Portell shares what his team needs to do to beat Farmington.

Winder says staying true to their style will help them come away with a win.

The Knights travel to Potosi to face the Trojans Tuesday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 on AM-800 KREI.
