(CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.) – The Farmington Knights boys basketball team returns to the court Friday evening in Cape Girardeau after a week off, and they’ll take on the Cape Central Tigers on AM 800 KREI.

The bad news for Farmington is that they’re now 2-2 after a 53-46 loss last Friday at Saxony Lutheran.

The good news though is that the Knights are getting healthy.

Junior Brant Gray scored 18 points a week ago after dealing with an injury at the start of the season.

And now according to head coach Terry Noble, 6’7 sophomore Isaiah Robinson is set to make his return…

Meanwhile, Cape Central is 6-0 to start the year and is ranked 3rd in the state at the Class 4 level.

They eliminated Farmington in state sectionals last year 60-46 before bowing out to St. Mary’s in the quarterfinals.

Noble knows Cape will be tough.

Tune into the boys basketball contest between Farmington and Cape Central Friday night on KREI.

Pregame coverage begins at 7:15 and tip-off is scheduled for 7:30.
