(JACKSON, Mo) The boys basketball season continues Friday night as the Farmington Knights travel to Jackson for a duel with the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders on KREI.

The Knights are 2-1 on the early year after a third place finish in the Sullivan Tournament last week.

A 25-3 season a year ago saw many key players like Tycen Gray, Cole Laurence, and Bryce Sancegraw depart due to graduation, but head coach Terry Noble still likes what he has in this team.

Meanwhile, Saxony Lutheran has a new head coach and its a familiar face for fans of Farmington.

Former Knights head coach Justin Callahan takes over what was a 2-win team last year.

The Crusaders have started the year 1-3.

It was Callahan who led Farmington to a 4th place finish in state in 2014.

He tells us how he’s approaching this contest.

Tune into the game between Farmington and Saxony Lutheran starting at 7:15 with the Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show on KREI.
