Farmington Boys Host Seckman On KREI

(Farmington) The Farmington boys basketball team are hosting the Seckman Jaguars Tuesday night and we’ll have the call on AM-800 KREI.

Farmington returns to their home court after taking the consolation championship as the 12 seed at the Central Christmas tournament last week. Farmington won three straight games after dropping their first round game against Ste. Genevieve.

A big reason for the Knights’ success was sophomore Logan Schaupert who averaged over 15 points per game in the tournament.

That’s head coach Garrett Callahan. Schaupert leads the team in scoring, but the Knights have a deep bench that contributes in multiple ways each game.

Farmington are 5-7 on the season.

Seckman participated in the Valle Catholic Winter Classic and made it to the championship game before falling to St. Vincent. The Jaguars are 4-5 this season and are led in scoring by junior Colin Debold and his 18.7 points per game.

Coverage of Farmington and Seckman begins at 7:15 Tuesday night on KREI and MyMoInfo.com.
