Farmington Boys Win at Festus 56-49
(FESTUS)    The Farmington Knights and the Festus Tigers Tuesday night were tied 26-26 at halftime but the Knights used 13-3 run in the third quarter to help boost them to a 56-49 win on the road.  The game was broadcast on 800AM KREI, 1400AM KJFF and  The Knights held a 43-36 lead at the end of the third quarter.  The Knights were led in scoring by Cooper Tripp’s 13 points and he was our Applebee’s of Farmington Player of the Game.  Also in double figures for Farmington was Austin Knight with 12 points and Cannon Roth added 10.
For Festus, Hayden Bates was the only player in double figures, he scored 18 points.
Knights head coach Garrett Callahan said the team really battled the Tigers for the win.

Callahan complimented the defensive play of Tatem Tinsley.

The Knights improve to 11-5 and will host Ste. Genevieve Friday night.  Festus slips to 8-6 and will be at home Friday night to play De Soto.
