Farmington Chamber Helping With Volunteer Efforts

(Farmington) The Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce is working with AmeriCorps to gather volunteers to help with relief efforts in St. Francois County from the storms that rolled through on Sunday night. Candy Hente is the director of the chamber. She says they are set up at Parkland Chapel Church just outside of Farmington coordinating their efforts.

Hente says they’ll probably need the help of volunteers for the next couple of days.

Hente says if they find they have more volunteers than they need, they will send you to Madison County to help with cleanup efforts there.
