(POTOSI, Mo.) – The Farmington Knights boys basketball team got their first conference win Friday night as they defeated the Potosi Trojans 58-37 in a game heard on J-98. Tycen Gray led the Knights in scoring with 15 points.

Potosi’s Noah Jacobsen led all scoring with 21 points for the Trojans. Jacobsen also reached a milestone scoring his 1500th career point.

Potosi head coach Brett Hale said Jacobsen always works hard.

Farmington head coach Terry Noble said the passing led to some great looks in the win.

Farmington has won their last six games while Potosi has lost their last six. Farmington improves to 10-1, 1-0 in MAAA Large School conference play, while Potosi falls to 4-8, 0-1 in conference play. Both teams have road games coming up next on Tuesday; the Knights will visit the DeSoto Dragons while the Trojans take on the Hillsboro Hawks.
