Farmington Escapes North County 30-14

(Bonne Terre) The Farmington Knights beat the North County Raiders 30-14 in a game that was much closer than the final score. Farmington struck first with a 19 yard touchdown pass from Kaden Files to Isaiah Robinson. They took a 7-0 lead into the locker room, but North County responded to start the second half..

The two point conversion failed, but after a 23 yard Kael Krause field goal, North County took the lead on a three yard run by Devin Seastrand. North County started the 4th up 14-10.
Farmington fullback Braden Botkin gave Farmington the lead for good with a nine yard run, breaking six tackles along the way.
On the ensuing possession Farmington stopped North County on downs inside the Raiders 30 yard line. That’s when Brady Cook came up with the play of the game….

The Knights punched it in from there creating a two score margin. Farmington quarterback Kaden Files says his buddy made a great catch…

Farmington took down North County 48-6 last year. Knights coach Erik Kruppe says he saw a much improved team on the other side tonight…

North County junior quarterback Nolan Reed threw for 69 yards and ran for 145 more. Coach Brian Jones likes what he has under center….
