Farmington dropped its road contest at Lutheran North 38-10. The Crusaders became the de facto number one team in class two after Cardinal Ritter was forced to forfeit all of its games. Lutheran North drove 74 yards in 10 plays on its first possession and never trailed in the game. The Knights fumbled it back to the Crusaders on their second play from scrimmage, but the defense held. Kael Krause kicked a 33 yard field for Farmigton on the final play of the first half to make the score 23-3. The Knights toughened up in the second half. The defense held Lutheran North on downs at the five yard line to set up a 95 yard touchdown drive by the Knights. Royce Harris went 55 yards to set up Demond Guthrie….


Lutheran North mixed the pass and run effectively with 262 yards on the ground and 131 through the air with seven players running the ball and five catching passes. The Knights gained all 135 yards on the ground with fullback Brayden Bodkin carrying it 28 times, 10 more carries than the rest of the team combined.
Farmington coach Erik Kruppe says that the Crusaders are worthy of their ranking….

Lutheran North improves to 7-0. Farmington falls to 5-2 and wraps up the regular season with a home game against the Central Rebels.
