Farmington falls for the first time this season, 35-14 to Class 5 second ranked Jackson in a game that was much more competitive than the score. Jackson came into the game averaging 50 points per game, but the Knights shut them out in the first half. Following a Jackson fumble Brayden Bodkin rumbled in from 28 yards out for the only score of the first half as Farmington took a 7-0 lead into the locker room. Jackson scored touchdowns on two of their first three possessions of the second half to take the lead. That’s when Royce Harris turned in the play of the game…

The Indians took advantage of a couple of short fields and ran back a fumble for a touchdown late for the final margin. Neither defense allowed a 100 yard rusher or 200 yard passer in the game. Farmington coach Erik Kruppe had praise for both sides afterward…

Farmington falls to 5-1 and heads to Sikeston next week. Jackson improves to 6-0 and can wrap the SEMO North conference with a win next week at Poplar Bluff.
