(Farmington) Cold weather is set to move back into the area later this week. While it can be uncomfortable for many of us, it can be downright dangerous for firefighters. Todd Mecey is the chief of the Farmington Fire Department.
Mecey says they do take precautions to protect their firefighters.
According to studies, about 900 people die and over 2 billion dollars’ worth of property loss occurs each year due to winter-related home fires across the country.
