Farmington Fire Department Assists Neighboring Counties In Severe Storm Damage

(St. Francois County) Even though the city of Farmington escaped the worst of the storms, it was still a busy night for the Farmington Fire Department. Chief Todd Mecey says they were one of many departments who helped out through mutual aid.

Farmington worked with the Wolf Creek Fire Department to help respond to several reports of homes being collapsed with people trapped inside. As of this time, only a few minor injuries were reported.
