(Farmington) If you’ve ever played a team sport, you’re familiar with how a practice usually starts. Sometimes a coach will outline the plan for the day, give a speech to fire you up, recite a quote or outline a virtue. However, this is how practice starts nowadays…

That’s Farmington assistant football coach Jonathon Bird setting the tone for productive, but safe practice.
Knights head coach Erik Kruppe says COVID-19 has changed the routine…

Even so, Kruppe was impressed with the gains his players have been able to achieve in the offseason…

You can listen to Farmington football all year once again on AM 800 KREI and mymoinfo.com. The Knights start the season August 28th at North County, then come home for two against Potosi and Sikeston. Their longest road trip comes in week four at Hayti. The Knights are at home against Cape Central in week five. Then it’s at Poplar Bluff and Jackson to wrap up SEMO North play. Farmington hosts Festus in week eight and concludes the regular season at Park Hills Central.
