(Cape Girardeau, Mo.) Farmington survived a defensive battle to secure a 23-6 victory at Cape Central. No scoring the in the first quarter yielded to all four touchdowns being scored in the second quarter.

Quarterback Kaden Files ran in the first two scores for the Knights and ended the game with 134 yards on 23 carries.

The Knights defense allowed a negative one yard passing on the night, but did give up one big play, an 81 yard touchdown run by Cape Central’s DeShawn Franklin. Franklin gained 134 of the Tigers 170 yards in the game.

With the win Farmington improves to 4-0 and 1-0 in the SEMO North. Cape falls to 2-2 and 0-2 in conference. Farmington will host Poplar Bluff in week five on Friday.
