Farmington, Hillsboro Set To Square Off In Softball Wednesday

(HILLSBORO, Mo.) – Before their football teams meet this weekend, the Farmington Knights and Hillsboro Hawks will face off on the softball diamond Wednesday afternoon on Regional Radio. Hillsboro is once again off to a strong start, going 7-1 in the first week of the season. Hawks coach Kevin Lucas said that early success is mainly due to their pitching.
Meanwhile, Farmington is still trying to find some consistency with a 2-3 record through the first two weeks. Knights coach Bryan Wallen said if they can clean up their defense, they can be a solid team.
First pitch in Hillsboro between the Knights and Hawks is set for 4:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. The Flieg’s Equipment Pregame Show will begin at 4:15 p.m. on AM-800 KREI and AM-1400 KJFF.
