Farmington hosts North County in girls soccer showdown

Two area rivals square off in high school soccer Thursday as the Farmington Knights host the North County Raiders on KREI. North County is 7-6 and has won 3 straight after knocking off Poplar Blufff 5-1 Wednesday night, thanks largely to 4 goals from Ella Gant.
Farmington hasn’t seen a lot of action this season and is off to a 1-3 start, but the Knights will look to ride leading goal-scorer Sydney Boyer to a win against a district opponent. You can hear Farmington take on the Raiders with pregame coverage starting at 4:45 on AM-800 KREI.
