Farmington Man Arrested in Ste. Genevieve County for Meth & Xanax

(Ste. Genevieve) A man from Farmington was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol early Wednesday morning in Ste. Genevieve County.

A news release from the patrol says 36-year-old Shawn Olive was arrested just after midnight.

He has now officially been charged with two felonies which are two possession charges for having methamphetamine and 37 Xanax pills.

Olive is also facing four misdemeanors…D.W.I., operating a vehicle in a careless manner, failure to register a vehicle and one other misdemeanor charge.

Olive has a bond of 25-thousand dollars.

He’s being held in the Ste. Genevieve County Detention Center.
