Farmington Man Killed in Two Vehicle Crash in Washington County

(Springtown) One person is dead and another injured after a two vehicle accident Thursday morning in Washington County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened on Highway 8, just east of North Oak Road, when a Honda CBR motorcycle driven by 44-year-old Nathan Waibl of Farmington was stopped in traffic on Highway 8.
40-year-old Sara Wilkinson of Mineral Point, driving a Dodge Durango, failed to see the stopped motorcycle.
The front of the Durango collided with the rear of the motorcycle, throwing Waibl off the bike.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wilkinson received minor injuries and she was taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi.
