Farmington Opens the Season With Win On the Road

(UNION, Mo.) – The Farmington Knights win their opener on the road at Union 23-13. The Knights scored first on a 31 yard field goal by Kael Krause, but the ensuing kickoff came back 100 yards from Christophe Poinsett.
Farmington then got its first touchdown of the season by Royce Harris.
Farmington fumbled the ball back to Union later in the second quarter, but on the very next play Rothman Harris took it back away for the Knights.
Farmington complied 344 yards on the ground. Braden Botkin lead the way with 21 carries and 149 yards. Coach Kruppe talks about what the team needs to improve on despite the victory.
