(Farmington, Mo.) Farmington schools have been out of session since Friday March 13th, but that doesn’t mean the food service workers have been out of session. Erin Crites is the Food Service Manager for the Farmington School District. She says her team has been hard at work trying to distribute about 700 meals per day for students. She takes us through the process of planning and making these meals.

Crites says they make two cold meals and one hot meal along with fruits and veggies for each day in each meal. She says it’s similar to what she will be doing for the summer school food program which anybody within the school district can be apart of.

You have to preregister for the summer school food service by calling the Farmington School District office.
