Farmington Senior Center Is Back Open

(Farmington) For the first time since March of 2020, the Farmington OAKS Senior Center has re-opened for seniors 60 and older to eat lunch together. Ursula Warren is the Director of the Senior Center and says that discussions to re-open began right after she was hired last December.

During the closure, the center was delivering meals to homebound seniors and Warren says they will continue to do so despite opening back up.

Prior to the shutdown, the Senior Center hosted many activities such as exercise classes, bingo, art classes and more. Warren says they plan to bring back activities slowly.

The Farmington OAKS Senior Center is open weekdays from 8 until around 3:30 and serves meals from 11 until 12:30.
