Farmington Softball Makes History

(Farmington) The Farmington Knights softball team is in the midst of an historical season. After a 15-1 win over 6th ranked Windsor on Monday, Farmington, the #2 team in the state, improved to 22-6 on the season which marks the most wins in school history. Knights head coach Bryan Wallen said he knew pretty early that this team was special.

Farmington’s 28 games played is the most among teams ranked in the top ten in the state. Wallen said the state allowed each team to play 36 games this season so he wanted to take advantage of getting his players more reps.

Wallen talks about how he keeps his team focused during this memorable season.

Not only was Monday’s win special for the team, but it also came on Senior Night.

The Knights don’t have much of a break as they’re set to take on Kelly on Tuesday at 4:30 and Oakville on Wednesday.
