Farmington Sophomore Elly Robbins Already Two Time Dream Teamer
(Farmington) Sophomore returning Dream Teamer Elly Robbins started rewriting the Farmington softball record books this year and in the process found herself atop some of the state lists as well.

Robbins broke the school records in hits with 67, doubles with 23, triples with 9 and total bases with 139. Her 43 extra base hits also broke the state record. Colleges can’t officially offer her yet, but she says she’s turning some heads…

Robbins hit .511 as a sophomore. She slugged 1.061 with 10 home runs and 56 runs driven in. She went 14-6 as a pitcher with a 2.42 ERA. She says there’s still work to be done in the circle…

With several standout players graduating, Robbins is looking forward to leading the Knights and is looking forward to Allison Pingle moving from assistant coach to head coach…

Elly’s sister Abby just finished her freshman year on the Division One SEMO Redhawks softball team.
