Farmington Starts Conference Play Tonight vs. Sikeston

(Sikeston) The Farmington Knights football team are coming off a huge last-minute victory over the Potosi Trojans last week and are looking to ride that momentum into SEMO-North Conference Play. The Knights head to Sikeston High School to take on the Bulldogs tonight on AM 800 KREI. Farmington is currently 1-1 on the season and has a 6-game winning streak against the Bulldogs. Head Coach Erik Kruppe says that even though they have had a lot of success against Sikeston, they’re always a tough matchup.

Just like last year, Sikeston comes into this matchup 2-0. However, new head coach Treston Pulley wants to reverse the outcome over the past couple of seasons.

Kruppe tells us that his team will have to adjust to Pulley and his new defensive scheme.

Last season, the Knights defeated the Bulldogs 25-7. But with a lot of new faces, we will see how this young Farmington team squares up with a Veteran-led Sikeston. Tonight’s Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show starts at 6 with kickoff set for 7 on AM 800 KREI.
