Farmington Sweeps Into District Title Volleyball Game Over Festus

(Farmington) The 29-7-1 Farmington volleyball team swept its way into the Class 4 District 1 title game at Black Knight Field House 25-19, 25-10 and 25-10 over Festus.

Farmington used a run in each set to create separation. The first set was tied at 14 when Farmington rattled off a 7-0 push. The Knights used a 10-0 surge in the second set to go up 16-4 and Farmington went on a 13-3 run to lead 17-7 in set three. Coach Haley Baker compared her offense to the air raid….

Baker says at this point in the season there aren’t many secrets….

Festus closes the year at 15-16-1.

The 7th ranked and top seeded Knights will face two see and 4th ranked St. Pius for the district championship tonight on AM 800 KREI and AM 1400 KJFF starting with a 5:45 Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show.
