Farmington Teenager Injured in St. Francois County Accident

(Farmington) A teenager from Farmington was injured about a half hour after midnight Friday after crashing his vehicle in St. Francois County.
The highway patrol says the crash happened on Denman Road, just south of Westmeyer Road when the 17-year-old swerved his Dodge Grand Caravan to avoid an oncoming vehicle that was in his lane.
The caravan ran off the road, hit a tree and overturned on the passenger side.
The teen was moderately injured and had to be taken to Parkland Health Center in Farmington for treatment.
