(FARMINGTON, Mo.) – A couple of district champions from a year ago that have dealt with big roster changes and injuries will face off on the volleyball court Thursday night as the Farmington Knights host the Ste. Genevieve Dragons on KREI.

After a rough start to the season, Farmington has won three straight matches to push their overall record to 6-11-3.

The Knights continue to battle injury, and will be without one of their setters in junior Sophia Pullen due to a concussion, but head coach Haley Baker is proud of how her team has performed in the last 3 matches.

For Ste. Genevieve, they will be looking to improve on a 3-7-3 record so far in 2019, and will also do so without the services of their primary setter.

Junior Brittney Kreitler will miss the match due to a concussion, which forces defensive specialist Maci Reynolds into the primary passing role.

Moving parts aside, head coach Jessica Fallert is hoping for more consistency in the final weeks of the regular season.

You can tune into the volleyball match Thursday night between the Ste. Genevieve Dragons and the Farmington Knights at 7 for the Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show on AM 800 KREI.
