(Farmington) The City of Farmington will be working soon on a couple things that are important to the city and it’s citizens.
Mayor Larry Forsythe says one issue involves the water park and the other is inside Long Memorial Hall, where city council meetings take place.
According to the City of Farmington’s website, the tentative opening date for the water park is Saturday, May 28th.
Once the park does open, hours will be from 11 until 6 daily.
The River’s Edge Splash Pad, located next to the water park, has a tentative opening date of Sunday, May 8th.
Admission to the splash pad is free through May 27th but it will cost anywhere from $6.50 to $8.50 for daily admission to the water park.
There is a water park discount for groups of 10 to 24 and a larger discount for groups of 25 or more.
