Farmington Woman Injured In Late Night Accident

(Farmington) A 21 year old woman from Farmington was injured last night in a traffic accident on Hildebrecht Road in St. Francois County.

The highway patrol says Brooklyn Matychowiak was driving east when she apparently fell asleep at the wheel.

Her Ford Escape then ran off the road and hit a fence, mailbox and tree.

She was taken to Parkland Health Center in Farmington with moderate injuries.

The accident happened just before 11:30 last night.
