Farmington’s Cunningham to SEMO Football

(Farmington) Judd Cunningham spent his high school football playing days dominating players who were bigger and stronger than him. He’ll be asked to do it again at the college level, as Cunningham recently signed to play at Southeast Missouri in Cape. Judd was a two way stalwart in the middle of the Farmington lines. At six feet tall and 190 pounds no one could get around him as Farmington’s center and no one could stay in front of him as Farmington’s nose guard. His coach Erik Kruppe doesn’t know where he will play at the college level, but he does know that the Redhawks are getting a great football player…

Judd says he might be asked to play a position he’s never tried before…

Judd is also a standout state level wrestler and he did briefly entertain some offers to continue on the mat…

Cunningham will begin his college career as a walk on, but hopes to earn a scholarship, much like Farmington players Roper and Rider Garrett before him…

Judd helped to lead the Knights to a 9-3 record with six sacks and 19 tackles for loss as a senior.
