(Farmington) Farmington quarterback Kaden Files gets the nod as our Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the week for his week four performance leading the Knights to a comeback win at St. Dominic.
Files rushed for 189 yards on 28 carries in directing a triple-option attack.
He ran for the longest play of the game on a 66-yard touchdown and scored the go-ahead two-point conversion with 14 seconds left in the game.
His coach Erik Kruppe says the honor is well deserved.
Coach Kruppe says Files’ leadership has been important in leading the Knights to a 4-0 start to the season.
As Athlete of the Week, Files will receive a T-shirt, a certificate, and a coupon good for one free entree at Applebee’s in Farmington.
You can hear Files and the Farmington Knights’ homecoming football game against Cape Central Friday night on AM 800 KREI.
