Farmington’s Hardy Leads MoBap to Nationals

(St. Louis) Farmington graduate Brendon Hardy has led the Missouri Baptist men’s basketball team to the national NAIA basketball tournament. Brendon led the team on the year at 12.9 points per game and is 27th in the country in three point accuracy at over 45%. Hardy earned 1st team all conference honors and eclipsed a thousand points for his career. Hardy was a part of the Missouri Baptist team that played in the national tournament three years ago when he was a freshman. He says he learned you should stay true to your strengths…

MoBap received a 12 seed at nationals. They will play five seed LSU-Schreveport in the first round Friday (3/11) in Alexandria, Louisiana. MoBap hasn’t won a game at nationals in four previous appearances, but Hardy is confident they can make some noise this year…

If Missouri Baptist can win two games at nationals they’ll get to return to Missouri to play. The sweet 16 on is played in Kansas City.
