Farmington’s Higginbotham to Westminster

(Farmington) Grant Higginbotham is one of several Farmington baseball players who have signed to play college baseball. He’ll compete next year for the Westminster Bluejays, an NCAA Division Three team out of Fulton, Missouri.

Higginbotham stood out on the mound during his junior season going 4-3 with a 2.89 ERA. He struck out 58 and walked 21. He says the Bluejays are looking at him first as a pitcher…

Higginbotham is also capable in the field hitting .292 his junior year with three extra base hits.
