Farmington’s Kochis Cards A Dream Team Selection

(Farmington) Farmington boys golf coach Brad Downs was voted as the Regional Radio Dream Golf Coach of the Year. One of the main reasons why was the play of Nate Kochis. Despite never having played a round before entering high school, Kochis qualified for the state tournament this year as a junior and was voted onto the Dream Team.

Kochis says he’s pretty good at getting around the course, but he needs to improve around the green.

Kochis says he thought the game much better this year.

Kochis is hoping to continue his rapid ascent in the game as a senior.

He says he’ll be surrounded by some other good golfers on his team.

Kochis averaged 39.8 strokes per nine holes this year with several top four finishes.
