Before even throwing the first pitch of his senior year, Farmington’s Owen Tripp has decided where he will play college baseball. Tripp liked the pitch thrown at him by the coach of William Woods in Fulton, Missouri…


 

Coach Chris Fletcher says Tripp turned their heads during summertime baseball…

Before heading off to college Tripp is looking to contribute to the Knights any way he can during his senior senior season…

And as Josh Hoehn takes over as head coach for Farmington he’s looking for Tripp to be one of the leaders…

Tripp threw 29 and a third innings as a junior with a 5.01 ERA. He struck out 32 and walked 16. In 27 games he batted .203 with 11 driven in. Tripp scored 13 runs and walked 11 times. Farmington went 10-17 last year. The William Woods Owls went 23-28-1 in the NAIA. Owen says he’ll study Sports Management in College.
