Fatal Crashes in Missouri Down this Year Compared to 2020

(Jefferson County) Fatal vehicle crashes on Missouri roads are down compared to this time last year.
Corporal Juston Wheetley with the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the percentage of fatal accidents is down slightly.
Wheetley adds the key factors in the cause of the fatal accidents remains the same.
On the water there have been 17 boating fatalities along with 47 drowning deaths this year.
That’s compared to 7 boating and 27 drowning deaths in 2020 at this time.
