(Festus) Boys basketball will dominate the KJFF airwaves tonight as the Jefferson Blue Jays will welcome in the Crystal City Hornets in a JCAA small conference battle.

The Blue Jays (8-11, 1-2) have won their last two games with victories over St. Paul Lutheran and most recently, a thrilling overtime win over the Grandview Eagles behind a game winning three from sophomore guard Easton Null. Crystal City (5-15, 0-3) is also coming off of a win with their most recent game ending in a win over St. Paul. The two teams played earlier this season with the Hornets coming away with a 47-42 win in early December.

Junior Brady DeGeare continues to lead the Hornets attack averaging 19.1 points per game and 7.7 rebounds a game. Fellow junior Chris Eisenbeis as emerged as Crystal City’s next scoring threat averaging 8.4 points per game.
