In the girls semifinal round of the MAAA Conference Tournament, the #5 seed North County Raiders knocked off top seed Arcadia Valley 53-51. A back and forth contest the entire way, sophomore guard Alyssa Huber of North County decided to make a statement at the end.
Huber would finish with 4 points including the game winning shot. Briar Johnson led the way for Arcadia Valley with her 17. North County head coach Zac McVey says their improved court vision helped them escape with the victory.
