Fenton Carjacking Suspect Arrested

(Fenton) A Fenton man was arrested in connection to a carjacking that occurred in the parking lot of Freeman Market in Fenton.

27-year-old James Keith Leuschke Junior has been charged with 1 count of Robbery in the 2nd degree, which is a Class B felony.

According to Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Grant Bissell, the incident happened just before 2 pm on March 6.

When deputies arrived on scene they began following the direction the suspect was last scene.

Leuschke is currently being held at the Jefferson County Jail on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
