Fenton Woman Seriously Injured in Crash

(Fenton) A Jefferson County woman was seriously injured in a crash Thursday afternoon after running a red light. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says that 48-year-old Sejdo Beganovic was driving a Ford F-350 through the intersection of Schneider road and Highway 141 in Fenton when a Honda Civic driven by 67-year-old Bruce Schuetz ran a red light. Schuetz’s car hit Beganovic’s truck. Schuetz was seriously injured, and her car was totaled. Beganovic’s passenger, 44-year-old Nura Beganovic, suffered moderate injuries in the crash. Both Beganovic and Schuetz were transported to Mercy Hospital South for treatment of their injuries.
