Festus’ Abby Rickermann Adds 2nd Dream Team Selection to List of Accolades

(FESTUS) Festus Tiger shortstop and junior Abby Rickermann has landed on the Regional Radio Softball Spring Dream Team for the 2nd time.

Rickermann tagged the ball pretty good this past season, finishing with a .534 batting average, 3 doubles, 3 triples, 24 stolen bases and 27 runs scored. Abby is most proud of her increased ability to put the ball in play.

 
Going into her senior year, Abby has already committed to playing college softball at Southeast Missouri State in Cape Girardeau. She says that already knowing where she’ll spend the next four years of her life puts her mind at ease.

 
In addition to her 2nd Dream Team selection, Abby was also picked by coaches for the All-District, All-Conference, All-Region, and All-State teams. In three seasons with Abby Rickermann starting at short, the Festus softball team has won two district titles.
