Festus Assistant Superintendent Settling In

(Festus) Festus School District Assistant Superintendent Jonathan Earnhart is continuing to settle into his position.

Earnhart was hired as the new assistant superintendent following Nathan Holders resignation earlier this year.

Earnhart says he has felt very welcomed at Festus.

Previously Earnhart was the Superintendent of the Crawford County R-2 School District. At Festus he will be in charge of finance and human resources.

In other news in the Festus School District, Superintendent Dr. Link Luttrell says teachers and students having been doing well since school began in late August.

Face masks are highly recommended but optional in the Festus School District.

According to Dr. Luttrell, 19 people are out with COVID-19 and another 43 out on quarantine.
