Festus’ Austin Anderson named Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week

(Festus) Festus Tigers senior Austin Anderson has been named the Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week.

Anderson led Festus to a 42-13 win over Sullivan in their first home football game of the season, piling up 226 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns on Friday night.

Tigers head coach A.J. Ofodile says Anderson is exactly the type of player they want touching the ball.

Anderson also scored 3 total touchdowns for Festus in a Week 1 win over Ste. Genevieve.

As Athlete of the Week, Anderson will receive a T-shirt, a certificate and a coupon good for one entree at Applebee’s in Farmington.
