Festus baseball team’s return home was perfect timing

(Festus) The timing could not have been better. When the Festus high school baseball team returned home on Saturday night (6/3) after capturing the Class 5 state championship, it was during the Festus Mayor’s Summer Car Cruise. Festus City Administrator Greg Camp says it was a perfect ending to a fun event.

Festus Mayor Sam Richards is planning on reading a proclamation for the Festus baseball team, as well as for the Festus boys track team that won the state championship the Saturday before. The proclamations will be presented during the Festus City Council meeting on Monday night (6/12).
