Festus Boys Basketball Has New Look Squad for 2019-2020
(FESTUS) The 2019-2020 Festus boys basketball program will once again be led by Jason Therrell who enters his 4th year at the helm.
Therrell’s team last season went 17-10 but graduated six players with one of them being Kobe Branscomb, a kid that averaged 11 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3 steals a game while being an outstanding senior leader.
So here is Coach Therrell with some of the new faces to the varsity squad.
Leading the list of returning guards are Collin Reando and Cole Rickermann.
The post players that Coach Therrell is referring to are Daibrion Barker and Damarion Anderson, among others.
In taking a look at the schedule, Coach Therrell is, of course, excited about playing in the Gene Steighorst Invitational in Hillsboro and also the Park Hills Central Christmas Tournament, but also January 21st is a big deal to him and his team.
The 2019-2020 season for Festus boys basketball tips off with a home game on December 3rd at 7 against Pacific. Tuesday night the Tigers are in a jamboree at DeSoto High School with a game against Fox at 5:45 and then a game against DeSoto at 6:30.
