Festus Burglary Suspect Charged

(Festus) A Festus man has been charged in connection to a burglary of a home in the 800 block of Burns Court in Festus on Saturday.
39-year-old Anthony Amos Sartln has been charged with 1st Degree Burglary, Stealing of $750 or more, 3rd Degree Assault, 1st Degree Tampering with a Motor Vehicle and 2nd Degree Property Damage.
Festus Police Chief Tim Lewis says officers got the call about the burglary around 4:30 Saturday afternoon.
Sartln is currently being held at the Jefferson County Jail on a $500,000 cash only bond.
