Festus city budget will include more contain more street improvement funds

(Festus) The City of Festus is in the process of finalizing its budget for the next year. Festus City Administrator Greg Camp says the city council approved the first draft of the new budget this week, and they have plans for additional street overlay work next year.

Camp says they are adding additional funding for street repairs.

The Festus City Council will vote to finalize the budget at their next meeting on Monday, the 27th. The new budget will go into effect on October 1st.
