Festus City staff members out with Covid

(Festus) The City of Festus was hit recently with a few staff members out due to Covid-19. Festus Mayor Sam Richards says two important office holders recently caught it.

Richards says things are still in good shape among their employees, but he’s concerned about the increasing positive cases.

Richards is hoping area businesses will do their part to keep employees and customers safe.

The Festus Fire Department held a prayer vigil for Chief Cremer at Mercy Jefferson on Sunday evening. City Administrator Greg Camp is expected to return to the office today (Tuesday).
