Festus closes parking lots at city parks

(Festus, Crystal City) The parking lots at all Festus City Parks are now closed. Festus City Administrator Greg Camp says the parks are still open to the public, but too many people were packing themselves into the parking lots, which prompted the move.

In Crystal City, people continue to use their parks, but also simply walking around town. That’s according to City Administrator Jason Eisenbies.

The parking lots at all Festus City Parks will remain closed until further notice.
